The Secret Sauce for Movement Flows

Movement flows require more than a step-by-step plan. You can not go from position A to position B to position C and expect all movements to be fluid and flowy. But that’s exactly how I approached it in the beginning. And guess what, my flows looked terrible. They were missing the glue that’s holding them together.

And I’m not the only one who makes this mistake. Probably everyone starting out with mixed movement flows, will not move smoothly by accident. Because they are simply missing the secret sauce. But how can you avoid this mistake? How can you know and thus move better? Kick-start your learning curve now with this short 12-minute podcast episode, where I share many insights into free-form movement.

How do I need the least force? Because that’s a very important piece of our mobility work, of our movement work. You shouldn’t necessarily feel so much force. It should be rather natural. In the beginning, you will need quite a bit of strength and effort to really get into the movements and put them together. But the more you practice it, the easier it should get, and the less strength you are gonna work.
